Discovery Place

Parker, Ian, Mommy, Daddy, and PawPaw went to Discovery Place in downtown Charlotte Saturday. It was really neat and Ian enjoyed every moment. Even Parker got into the action and played with stuff. Discovery Place is a hands on museum which introduces children (and adults) to lots of different science topics among other things. Enjoy the pictures.

Parker and Ian at the dinosaur area-Ian was scared of the "real" dinosaurs but enjoyed the little play dinosaurs. Parker has been pulling up on everything and with a little support from Mommy he got to enjoy the dinosaurs too!

Had to take a picture of Nemo-these poor fish will forever be screamed at by young children who think every clown fish is Nemo and Marlin. When Ian saw them he screamed Nemo at them along with the other children.

Ian just loved these blocks. They were all the same size but could be made into many, many different things. Ian made some really neat creations.

Parker getting into the box of blocks- they are called Kapla blocks but before you run out and buy a box they are quite expensive- much to our dismay
