Fun 4th of July time

Well, we have been having so much fun the past few days. On Friday, we went as a family to the park near our house. We had a picnic, played on the playground, and visited the nature museum that is at the park. Today, the 4th, we went to a 4th of July festival in Matthews. There was food, a band, free flags, giant tricycles, bounce houses, and games for the kids. Ian and Parker had soooo much fun! Ian couldn't stay out of the bounce houses and Parker was able to go in too because there were no big kids. We couldn't keep him out actually, as he tried to climb in it...it was so cute :) Ian also played some kid games with bean bags where he tossed the bean bags into buckets and threw the bean bags at some ducks...he was very good at it too! The best part of the evening was the giant tricycles....we got some great pictures :) Ian and Parker both got to ride multiple times while sitting on our laps :)

When we got home the neighbors were shooting off fireworks. Ian stayed with Daddy and watched but Parker was terrified of them :( Maybe next year..
